I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I noticed a marked difference after about four uses. I am a heavy coffee drinker and I can attest to the whitening power of Plus White 5. I do have one slight disagreement with the video description of how to apply the gel. The girl in the video put the gel in the mouthpiece and did not bother to apply it to her teeth as well. I put the product on my front teeth, both bottom and top. I use my finger to apply the gel but you could use a cotton tip. I also put the gel in the mouthpiece too.
If your teeth don't become too sensitive to the application then you can keep the gel on your teeth longer than 5 minutes. I found that there was a little sensitivity the first time I used Plus White 5 but every application since then has been absolutely pain and sensitivity free.
After the first intensive two weeks I have found that once a week maintenance has kept my initial results and prevented further yellowing of the enamel.
I might also add that the product does not have a bad flavor. In fact, there really isn't much flavor at all to the gel so it's very easy to keep it in your mouth for 5 to 15 minutes.
