The Wonder Wash is great for small spaces like apartments, campers, rv's and tiny homes. It is very small but does a pretty impressive amount of laundry in one shot.
In this demonstration five shirts are loaded into the Wonder Wash. However, the water, 8 quarts, and laundry detergent were placed in the unit first before the shirts were added.
The pressure lid was fastened and the action of the hot water and detergent create a higher pressure inside the tank.
The load of clothes is then manually cranked for about two minutes. The unit is then picked up and drained into the sink using a special adaptor just for this purpose.
The whole concept of saving electricity and conserving water are very appealing in an eco sense.
The only con with the washer is that the legs seem to be a bit flimsy.
Overall the whole idea is nothing but genius.
The Laundry Pod is another unique innovation for doing laundry.
It has the same appeal as the Wonder Wash as far as being an appealing option for small apartment dwellers.
The design of the Pod is very different from the Wonder. The Pod has a basket inside which resembles what you would find in a traditional washer.
The clothes, water and detergent are added much the same. However, the crank on the Pod is on top of the unit and is a little harder to crank.
One advantage of the Pod is that it has no legs so this is a plus over Wonder.
It appears that the capacity for load size is very similar.
Conclusion: It really comes down to which design strikes your fancy, spin in basket or tumble wash.
Since the Wonder Wash sells for abourt $45 and the Laundry Pod sells for around $93 I would have to choose the Wonder Wash over the Laundry Pod. Either way you go they both are eco and energy efficient!
